The minimum pitching or sloping degree for the roof is decided by the minimum slope necessary for excluding the roof covering and drain rainwater to eaves or valley gutter. This is part two of the porch build where i am doing the roof. The project is up to roof plate now. While the gabled roof is always pitched in two directions the mono pitch always slants in a single direction.
